How does usage work?
Cloud AI usage scales with the model and task. A quick question costs much less than a long agent session on a premium model. Your own local Ollama models never draw from your balance. Every plan includes a monthly balance that refreshes automatically.
Can I use Centaurus for free?
Yes. The free tier lets you install the CLI, connect MCP servers, use local Ollama models, and explore the product — no subscription needed. To use cloud AI models, choose the Local or Pro plan.
What happens when my monthly balance runs out?
The current response finishes, then cloud AI pauses until your balance refreshes or you add more. Your balance never goes negative. You can still run shell commands and use local Ollama models with no limit.
Can I add more usage mid-month?
Yes. On Local, Pro, or Ultra you can top up at any time from the billing page (minimum $5). Add-on usage stacks on top of your monthly balance, does not expire at the monthly refresh, and never changes your plan.
I use my own local models — what does the Local plan add?
Local Ollama models are free for everyone, so you can run your main model locally at no cost. The Local plan adds the cloud-tuned features — parallel agents, intelligent search, quick and fix commands, and web search — which run on small cloud models, plus the ability to connect your own custom inference endpoint (BYOK). It includes 5 compute units a month to cover those cloud features, at a fraction of the Pro cost.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal (billed in USD) and Razorpay (credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets, billed in INR). Choose your preferred provider at checkout.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the billing page at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for — you keep full access until then and won't be charged again. You can resume before the period ends if you change your mind.
